Tooth gems are a fashion trend that's been around since the 90s and isn't going anywhere any time soon! Still seen on a lot of celebrities and high fashion faces they are non invasive way to bling up your mouth and enhance your smile. Tooth gems last between a few weeks to 6 months to two years depending on your lifestyle and can be removed by a dentist during your routine clean for free whenever you like ;)
Using A grade dental tools including the 3 second curing light, the max power wand and the finest training we bring you an extensive range of options to chose from for your new perfect smile. All tooth gems are Swarovski non toxic crystal gems in a huge range of colours and shapes. We also stock 18k gold and white gold tooth charms for your tooth gem application. We are blessed to have a 3 second cure wand HALVING the time of tooth gem applications making room to deliver much larger sets.
We use the SBM gel whitening methods to lift you as many as 12 shades in one 20 minute session whilst protecting your precious enamel with the newest, safest whitening treatment. This whitening treatment has been perfected and tested for a completely sensitivity free long- lasting whitening experience!

can I eat and drink after my tooth gem appointment?
You can have liquid immediately but please wait at least one hour after your appointment to eat and avoid crunchy, sticky foods for 24 hours as the gems further set. (see aftercare instructions) so please ensure you eat something before and come in nice and hydrated . 𓂃 ࣪˖ ִֶָ𐀔
how long will my appointment last?
Appointments last anywhere between 15 minutes to 45 for consultation, preparation and application, depending on how many gems you are getting. we are lucky to have the max power light so our tooth gem appointments are a quarter of the time of normal tooth gem appointment.
is there an age limit on tooth gems? how old should I be?
No you must be 16 years older to come alone, to consent to receiving a gem otherwise a parent or guardian must be present. ꒰ᐢ. .ᐢ꒱₊˚⊹
can I cancel my appointment?
Of course!⊹˚. ♡.𖥔 ݁ ˖ You can cancel or reschedule your appointment for no charge up until 24 hours before your appointment, no shows will incur 50% of the booking fee.
are tooth gems permanent?
Defiantly not! tooth gems and not permanent and will not cause your tooth damage. They are the same as braces bonding and are harmless and easily removed. They can last anywhere between a few weeks and a few years depending on your lifestyle and can easily be removed during your routine dental clean.
how can I get the gems removed?
When you are due for your next clean at the dentist, you can ask your dentist to remove them which they can do easily and gently for no extra charge. unfortunately I don't offer tooth gem removals it is much better to let a dentist do that part as we use dental composite to attach the gem to the tooth.
what happens if I swallow my gem?
The gems and 18K gold charms we use are completely harmless and if swallowed will naturally pass ;-) The gems and the composite are completely non-toxic and will cause you no damage they are designed to be safe for you. if this happens within two weeks of your appointment you get a free replacement!
how long will my tooth gem last?
your tooth gems will last anywhere between a few weeks to a couple of years totally dependent on lifestyle. Byron Bay tooth gems has a two week guarantee if your gem falls out before that period we will replace it for free! Although rare, sometimes a tooth gem will reject like a piercing, as it is not suitable to stick to the surface of the tooth and slides off or it gets knocked off on something hard or crunchy, which is completely normal and harmless!
when can I brush my teeth after receiving my gem?
please wait 24 hours before brushing your teeth for the first time to ensure that it is 100% set after this, you can continue brushing as normal!! including your electric toothbrush and flossing good oral hygiene is incredibly important<33
what drinks can I drink after my appointment?
for the first 12 hours, no piping hot boiling drinks like hot tea or hot coffee (or soups!!) apart from that anything is fine!
Will I be allergic to a tooth gem?
definitely not they're completely safe and non-toxic they are designed for everyone and are attached in the same way as traditional braces with etch, bond and composite they are hypoallergenic and totally fine for sensitive people!!
